British Flower Week Competition 2020

Our British Flowers Week Windows Competition 2020 is now closed. Winners will be announced week 29th June on this website and our social channels.

Information:

We are encouraging the general public (of all ages) and businesses to create British Flowers Week Windows in their homes or places of work next week.

To win, create a ‘British Flowers Week Window’ in your home or place of work. Join the nation in celebrating by placing British flowers and plants in your window. Use British flowers from local wholesalers, markets, florists, growers; from your garden or use your favourite houseplant! Take an image of the window (with or without you in it)! Then carry out the following steps:

  • Like our Instagram post here.

  • Follow and post image tagging @MarketFlowers using the hashtag #BritishFlowersWeek.

  • In your post, explain the inspiration for your window and put which prize category you are entering (see categories below).

The competition ends Sunday, 21 June. Winners will be judged by New Covent Garden based florist Rauri McCulloch from Pinstripes and Peonies and announced week 29th June.

Prize categories are:

  • Children 0-12   (3 prizes)    

  • Young Person 13-17  (2 prizes)  

  • Adults 18+  (1 prize)

  • Horticultural and Floral Businesses  (1 prize)

  • Other British Businesses (1 prize)
